The main objective of this project was to propose an architectural strategy to inform Lifebridge’s migration from Central Point to Drupal. This was accomplished by exploring the following:
Lifebridge’s existing platform and content
Pain points and inefficient practices
Desired future state of Lifebridge’s architecture
Improved content model; intuitive groupings to inform content types and taxonomy
Consistent look and feel using UX/UI best practices
Modern editor experience for internal team
Intentional URL structure and alias patterns

DISCOVERY FINDINGS
Site lacks architectural hierarchy
Breadcrumbs are hard-coded
Entire content area is inputted via a single editor field
All URLs are prepended with “/main” (e.g. https://www.lifebridgehealth.org/main/heart-and-vascular-care)
SEO and accessibility need improvement
Poor internal search experience
Inconsistent/incomplete design guidelines
Customer provided incomplete mockups that lack pixel specificity and mobile layouts
Style guide is not finalized; headers and footers vary across the site
Site is built using raw HTML and embedded CSS
